Steve Brush

As a composer for Film, Theatre, Dance and other media, my goals are to surprise, engage and enlighten the audience within the vision of the director. I have written, performed and studied music from an early age through college and for the last several years have studied composition, orchestration, conducting and the technical elements of film scoring from two time Emmy Award winner Hummie Mann. Through the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program I have had the opportunity to write music for five films all recorded with a live orchestra.

I have performed in a variety of bands/ensembles (concert, jazz, punkindie rock, etc.) on a variety of instruments (saxophone, bass guitar, keyboard, voice, etc.). I am currently the keyboard player for the band Mysterious Face and perform as an improvising musician for the comedy improv group Jet City Improv, Seattle WA.
