Musically talented and creative from an early age, Devin Anderson Wiley later had formal studies in orchestral composition and film music. His works as singer-songwriter are produced under the moniker D.A. Wiley.
He is self-taught on a multitude of instruments, including piano, guitar, theremin and analog synth, and has written in many wildly varying genres, from instrumental concert music, to synth-based soundscapes and sound design, to a driving 70s-infused rock and roll - the very organic to the very electronic and the places where they meet.
Often displaying a wry sense of humor and poetic surrealism lyrically, his music can veer from a seemingly simple melody into mysterious, darker and more complex tonality.
