Join the SCA for a panel discussion featuring Daniel Barry, Jack Klitzman, Jim Knapp, Hummie Mann, and Geoff Ogle.

This panel will discuss the various aspects of composing and arranging for large jazz ensemble or big band and consists of some of the leading jazz composers in the Seattle area. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in composing for the SCA Jazzy Meet and Greet scheduled for August 22 at Tula's. Topics covered may include but are not limited to: form, melodic development, solo sections and soloists, rhythm section issues and notation.
