The Seattle Guitar Circle will perform near the shelter in Ravenna Park on Sunday August 6 from 2-3:30pm.
This all-ages acoustic event is the second of four open-air concerts in the SCA’s SPARKS series, featuring local ensembles performing in Seattle City Parks. SPARKS is funded in part by the Mayor’s Office and the Seattle Parks Department.
The Seattle Guitar Circle is a multicultural acoustic guitar ensemble founded in 1997, representing an international movement of music, education, and community that has been in operation since the first Guitar Craft course in 1985 presented by Robert Fripp. Members have performed all over the world, including Argentina, Italy, the United States, England, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and many more places yet to be found. Featuring music from the world of classical, folk, bluegrass, progressive, and music composed in the moment, every performance is a unique event, with a multiplicity of styles both new and timeless.
