SCA Video Game Music Seminar: An Evening with Paul Lipson

Join us Tuesday, June 18th for an evening with Paul Lipson!  We will getPaulLipson an in depth look into the process of composing and implementing music for video games where Paul will breakdown several AAA titles to demonstrate the considerations and challenges inherent in composing for interactive media.  He will also discuss how to make an effective game music demo.

About Paul                     
An award winning Composer and Audio Director, Paul’s career has taken him all over the world, and has helped him innovate and advocate as a leading figure in the interactive entertainment industry. As a part of the team at Microsoft Studios, he works as Music/Audio Director – driving quality for internal and published tiles across platforms, most recently the newly-announced Xbox One. Paul also works as the Halo Publishing Audio Director, overseeing audio pipelines for published titles in the Halo Universe.

Doors close at 6:50 (we’re in a secure building so people won’t be able to arrive late and find their own way in)
Presentation from 7-8:30pm followed by Q&A

Directions:  Take 520 to its end and turn right on NE Union Hill Rd.  You’ll pass Swedish Hospital on your left.  The millennium business park is the next set of parking lots on your left.  Taking the second entrance will take you right to the front entrance Millennium A.
