VIFF AMP‘s most advanced program: The Composer Filmmaker Accelerator Program is designed by passionate & highly skilled industry leaders, this new inaugural program will focus on high level training in composition for media. The program will accelerate careers for 12 selected composer candidates and 4 established filmmakers.
The Composer Director Accelerator program will be curated by 3 time Emmy nominated and award-winning film and TV composer Miriam Cutler, based on her vast experience mentoring and leading workshops for both filmmakers and composers: Sundance, International Documentary Association, Film Independent, US State Department/USC School of Cinema American Film Showcase (international), and more; Teaching/presenting in many academic settings: Columbia College of the Arts/Masters in Scoring for the screen, USC, UCLA, Chapman College, Eastman School of Music/Beal Institute, and many more. This is an opportunity to fill the gap in the market for a prestigious learning experience for emerging professional composers in the visual media space globally.
