Join the Youth Jams Session on May 1st, 3:55-4:40 PM at Odle!

Get ready for an electrifying music experience! We’re hosting a vibrant Youth Jams Session on May 1st from 3:55-4:40 PM. This is your chance to jam, improvise, and make music with fellow young musicians in a fun, creative environment!

What’s in Store?

Three classic tunes from a diverse set of genres:

• All Blues – An iconic swing classic. Listen
• Black Orpheus – Bossa Nova vibes. Listen
• Too Sweet (Hozier) – Chill out with a fresh pop hit. Listen

Listen to the tunes on YouTube and print your preferred chart here (Concert, Bb, and Eb charts available)!

Conduction Jam:

• End the session with spontaneous improvisation led by a conductor using the Butch Morris method. One person directs the vibe. Think low notes, cool beats, or whatever sparks in the moment! We’ll kick things off with a warm-up to get everyone in sync.
