AMY DENIO (Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame) is a commissioned composer and an award-winning singer, multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, alto sax, clarinet, accordion, percussion, noise), audio engineer, record producer and teacher.

She scores music for film, television, theater, modern dance and podcasts and has produced 20 solo albums, and many other major recording projects.

She is active with her group the Tiptons Sax Quartet (1988-present) and Kultur Shock (1999-present). She is a versatile composer and improviser, exploring folk, jazz, pop, rock, metal, and many world music genres (Balkan, Latin, India). She has published nearly 700 compositions solo, and in collaboration with artists worldwide.
