If you attended our March Expert Speaker Series, you'll remember fellow SCA member and career entertainment lawyer Jeff Izzo, who only got through about 1/3 of his presentation on contracts, copyright, and more because the conversation and Q+A was so active and engaging. Being the wealth of knowledge he is (while also being one of the nicest educators in the PNW), we've decided to give him his own slot on the SCA calendar with a new seasonal program — Legal Lens (with Jeffrey Izzo)!
RSVPs are required for this event, and Jeff will choose a handful of topics submitted via the RSVP form to focus the discussion. Join us on May 26th at 7:30pm (doors at 7pm) at the LAB @ 1010 (1010 S Bailey St, Seattle, WA 98108).

Our next monthly meetup is just around the corner, and it’s going to be something special! This is your chance to dress up and connect with the musicians and industry professionals who make the vibrant Seattle/Tacoma music scene so exciting! Join Women in Film Seattle and Seattle Composers Alliance for a masterclass in how music and sound can assist in a film's storytelling — or even tell its own!
We will be joined by two pairs of experienced film directors and film composers, including Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Georgia Krause and Best Composer PNW Indie Award-winning film composer Tara Forth, who will additionally speak to their experience in collaborating with one another and the tips and tricks necessary to bring a project over the finish line.
After the presentation, join fellow music & film makers for mingling, food, and drinks at the Tin Room's next door restaurant & bar!
Wednesday, June 17th, 7:30pm (doors 7pm)
Free and open to all, limited space, RSVP required. Click "Register" to reserve your spot.
